This agreement describes McCoy Home Tech's ("MHT") web design services, pricing, and terms. How pricing works: Project prices are flat and confirmed in your written quote after a free consult. A 50% deposit starts the work; the balance is due at launch. You own your finished site and domain on final payment. Hosting, domain registration, premium plugins, and stock assets are billed at cost or handled on a Care Plan.

The fine print

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Scope & quotes. Consultations are free. Each project is defined by a written quote describing pages, features, and price. Work begins once you approve the quote and pay the deposit. Requests beyond the agreed scope are quoted as add-ons.
  2. Deposits & payment. A 50% deposit is required to begin; the balance is due before the site goes live. Larger projects (e.g. e-commerce) may use milestone billing. Accepted methods: [card / Stripe, e-transfer, PayPal]. Balances unpaid after [7] days may pause work and incur a late fee.
  3. Client content. You agree to provide text, images, logos, and any product data by the agreed date (target: within [7] days of project start). Delays in content or feedback may extend the timeline. Copywriting and stock imagery are available as add-ons.
  4. Revisions. Each package includes the stated number of revision rounds. Additional revisions or changes after approval are billed at $[95]/hour or by quote.
  5. Timeline. Timelines are estimates that depend on timely content and feedback from you. MHT will communicate any schedule changes promptly.
  6. Ownership & handoff. On final payment, you own the finished website and the content you provided. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins, themes) remain subject to their own licenses, and any associated fees are your responsibility.
  7. Hosting & domain. You own your domain. Hosting is provided via a Care Plan or deployed to your own account. Sites not on a Care Plan receive 30 days of post-launch support; after that, changes are billed hourly.
  8. Third-party services. Fees for domains, premium plugins/apps, email, payment processors, and similar services are billed at cost or paid directly by you.
  9. Cancellation. If you cancel a project after work begins, the deposit is non-refundable and any work completed beyond the deposit is billed at the hourly rate.
  10. Satisfaction. MHT will make reasonable revisions within the agreed scope to get the result right.
  11. Limitation of liability. MHT's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the project. MHT is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost revenue, third-party outages (hosting, payment, or email providers), or specific search-engine rankings, which cannot be guaranteed.
  12. Portfolio rights. Unless you request otherwise in writing, MHT may display the completed website in its portfolio and case studies.
  13. Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of [Pennsylvania].
